Just a few notes and updates…

Things are going well at IndieSkeptics! Thanks to everyone who’s posted. We have an increasing number of readers (numbering in the hundreds per day) and articles keep coming in. I’ve been a bit slow in posting them because of other projects.

A few issues:

1) Comment Spam
Comment spam is becoming a real problem. I try to remove it as often as possible, but please feel free to drop me a line if you see some. They’re trick is that they make a comment like “Nice Article” but there’s a link to some porn site or something in their name. Annoying, and yes, I have an Askimet account.

2) Travel
I’m leaving the country next week and then I’m off to Vermont for Halloween and Florida for Carl Sagan Day.  This means spam might sit longer, and articles might be a bit spotty. I’ll do my best!

3) Ads
I’m going to put a banner ad in the upper right. It’s going to be used to promote other skeptic projects, including my new venture, SkepTours.  If you’d like to see something up there, please let me know.

4) I’ll be adding some more bells and whistles as time allows. Stay tuned!
